9-11 One Year Anniversary
Sept. 11, 2002

Beth led a "silent ride" in memory of the 9-11-2001 terrorist attacks. We rode past and stopped briefly at the Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol, and the White House, and finally to the Pentagon, where we spent a little more time. We then returned to Starbucks where we broke the silence and broke bread together (i.e. ate an early lunch!).
