Moms in Action
Washington Times Newspaper, Sept. 14, 2003

Lisa Rauschart writes a great article about stay-at-home moms and their creativity in defining jobs and other ventures around their children's schedules.  Babes on Bikes and the group's founder, Beth Norcross, are nicely featured! The article includes 1 photo of the group rolling along, one of Beth and Joan and one of Beth trying to push over a tree (oh, wait a minute, I see, she's doing her stretchies!).  Read article here

Lynn is our all-time Anti-Weenie.
(January 2003)

The Babes top off most "Monday Morning Hill Rides"
with a brisk set of sit-ups and push-ups.  Really.
 (November 2002)

Lisa just loves her bike!  (Sept. 2002)

Firehouse Visit
Jan. 25, 2002

Peggy, Jimmy, and Sandy at "Engine Company No.10, Truck
Company No.13."

Gotta go!

Mike, Fred, and Jimmy with a few of us when we all greeted the FDNY firefighters on their "Thank You America" tour in November.  See more of that event here.

The Amazing Maize Ride
October 20, 2001

After our morning ride on the rolling roads of Poolesville, Jim is giving us a little history lesson about the Gen. Jubal A. Early Ferry also known as White's Ferry.  It is the last operating ferry across the Potomac River.

Jann, Kathy, and Jim found their way out of the Leesburg Maize Maze without fighting or crying.
