Sandy's Birthday Ride

The sun was bright, the air was cool, and we were delighted
to be biking again after a cold and wet winter. Nine of us rode a
little over 30 miles, out to the Herndon bread store for a snack and a
little birthday celebration for Sandy. Then we headed straight back to
Bluemont Park. The whole ride was via the W & OD Trail. |

Althea purchased a fabulous gooey raspberry swirl bread at
the
Herndon Harvest Bread store and presented it to Sandy
with a big, green birthday candle, as we sang "Happy Birthday!"
Not wanting Sandy to be alone in having her
backside photographed, as we prepared to depart the bread store, the others
struck a similar pose!
